The Social and Economic Investment Company TISE SA and the Ministry of Investment and Economic Development signed an agreement for a social venture capital fund operated by TISE for social economy operators.
The programme allocation is PLN 11.3 million. The funds come from the Operational Programme Knowledge Education Development (Measure 4.1 – Social innovation) and from TISE’s own resources.
Social economy operators will be able to get equity or quasi-equity support.
We want to use and combine our long experience in the traditional venture capital market, on which we have operated for a number of years, with over ten years of experience in services for social economy operators – said the Vice-President of TISE Joanna Wardzińska.
Social venture capital is a financing concept using the venture capital strategy model to finance non-governmental organisations, social businesses and/or projects with high social impact.
In mid-November, we will provide details on the operation of the fund, the deadline for submission of applications, the value of a single intervention and the instruments that we will be offering.
